Dr Chen manages all endocrine problems and works closely with our dietician on site for weight loss and diabetic diet management. Amanda Bartlett (Diabetes Educator)
Amanda Bartlett is a credentialed diabetes educator in private practice. She qualified as a Registered General Nurse in Oxford, prior to completing her Midwifery training in Sydney. In 1999 she completed a graduate certificate in Diabetes Education through UTS. Amanda works very closely with Dr Chen and your GP to deliver holistic diabetes care and education to you and your family. She is a certified insulin pump trainer and specialises in insulin pump therapy, and continuous blood glucose systems, pregnancy care, newly diagnosed Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, insulin initiation and stabilisation. Amanda is a guest lecturer at UTS, Australian College of Midwives and for ADEA. She was a board member of ADIPS for 4 years and now chairs the Diabetes in Pregnancy Special Interest Group.
Ingrid Orth (Dietician)
Ingrid graduated from The University of Sydney and is a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia and an Associate Member of Sports Dietitians Australia. Ingrid uses Health Coaching Techniques to assist clients of all ages to modify their eating and lifestyle patterns. Ingrid advises on a range of nutrition and medical areas including: Weight Management, Weight - loss Surgery - Pre & Post Op, Diabetes, Insulin Resistance, Cardiovascular Disease, Food Intolerance, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Pregnancy, Vegetarian Eating and General Nutrition.
This is a specialist suite on Macquarie Street, Park House, CBD. This location is ideal for professionals who work in the Sydney CBD. Dr Chen works on Tuesdays and Friday mornings. Dr Chen works alongside dietician Kate Gudorf for weight management.
Kate Gudorf (Diabetes Educator and Dietician)
Kate Gudorf is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and a Credentialled Diabetes Educator. She specialises in type 2 diabetes, weight management and weight loss, insulin resistance and polycystic ovarian syndrome, gestational diabetes and general health and wellbeing. Kate takes a moderate approach to helping her clients achieve and maintain their health goals by promoting sustainable, healthy eating and behaviour change. Kate is able to help you modify your diet and behaviour by providing professional education and ongoing support and motivation.
As a Credentialled Diabetes Educator, Kate can provide diabetes self-management education and she can provide knowledge, motivation and support to aid in the prevention of diabetes related complications. If you have diabetes or are at risk of diabetes, meeting with a diabetes educator will support you in your understanding of diabetes and provide guidance to achieve optimal health.
Kate is passionate about healthy eating and nutrition and this passion is evident in her approach. Kate can help you eat healthy by finding foods and meal ideas that you’ll enjoy.
Kate is a media spokesperson for the Dietitians Association of Australia and she enjoys writing about food, nutrition and health-related topics.

Natasha has worked as a dietitian for over 12 years and specialises in diabetes management and antenatal nutrition. Natasha is also a Credentialled Diabetes Educator. She has years of experience working in tertiary care public hospitals as well as running her own private practice. In addition to her patient load she has been involved in various research projects and regularly provides education sessions for general practitioners and other health professionals.
